Having been a devoted Formula 1 enthusiast in Austin, Texas since the 1970s, I have traveled the world to witness numerous live races. I attended Indy each year they held races there, which I always found to be exceptional - far superior to Phoenix or Dallas. While I have not visited the mid or far east, nor have I been to a race in Australia or South America, I have viewed dozens live over the years and hardly ever missed any on TV.
Our group meticulously planned the optimal route to avoid traffic congestion, as we believe traffic problems can mar the overall experience. Luckily, we encountered no traffic issues during the three days we were there. The parking area I selected was conveniently located near our grandstand, providing us with flawless access.
It was a flawless experience having F1 right in our neighborhood - absolutely no complaints!
If I were to nitpick, I would suggest improving the grass growth, enhancing toilet cleanliness, and ensuring they are placed on level ground. While I personally did not face any challenges, it seemed that there were insufficient food vendors, evidenced by the lengthy queues.
On the whole, the locals were exceedingly friendly, and it was evident that the event organizers were committed to ensuring everyone had a memorable time.
